Overview

Provides transport services for cats, volunteers, and supplies to support various rescue activities.

Responsibilities

~ Transport cats to and from veterinary appointments
~ Move cats between foster homes, PetSmart locations, and adoption events
~ Pick up and deliver supplies, equipment, and donations
~ Assist with moving cats during facility cleanings or emergencies
~ Participate in SETNR Transport Volunteer Facebook group chat

Time Commitment

Flexible, on-call basis (2-4 hours per week average)

Skills

~ Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
~ Comfortable transporting animals in carriers
~ Flexible schedule and availability for short-notice requests
~ Knowledge of local veterinary clinics and rescue locations
~ Calm demeanor during stressful transport situations
~ Physical ability to lift carriers and supplies
~ Cell phone for communication and GPS navigation
