Responsibilities
~ Provide respite care when primary foster families need breaks
~ Assist with bottle feeding for very young kittens
~ Help with medication administration for cats requiring frequent dosing
~ Support overwhelmed foster families with large litters
~ Provide temporary emergency foster care
~ Assist primary fosters with transportation to vet appointments
~ Help with socialization of fearful or undersocialized cats
~ Assist with cleaning and setup of foster spaces
~ Participate in Foster Chat on Facebook Messenger
Time Commitment
Flexible, on-call basis (2-4 hours per week average)
Skills
~ Basic cat care knowledge and willingness to learn specialized skills
~ Flexibility and availability for short-notice requests
~ Reliable transportation for pickup/delivery of cats
~ Patience and gentleness with vulnerable animals
