PetSmart Care Coordinator

Overview

Manages the organization’s partnership with PetSmart locations, overseeing cat placement, care, and adoption processes within partner stores.

Responsibilities

~ Coordinate with PetSmart store management on cat placements and policies
~ Serve as liaison to store managers and animal care staff regarding any issues related to cats in the cubbies
~ Schedule volunteers for daily care visits (feeding, cleaning, socialization)
~ Ensure cats receive proper medical care and follow-up treatments
~ Maintain cleanliness and organization of adoption areas
~ Process adoptions as needed
~ Track inventory of supplies and coordinate restocking
~ Train volunteers on PetSmart-specific procedures and policies

Time Commitment

10-15 hours per week

Skills

~ Experience with retail partnerships and customer service
~ Strong organizational and scheduling skills
~ Knowledge of cat care and behavior
~ Ability to train and supervise volunteers
~ Professional communication skills
~ Flexibility to address urgent issues during business hours
