I understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension. Participation in yoga class includes, but is not limited to, meditation techniques, yogic breathing techniques, and performing various yoga postures. Yoga is designed to exercise every part of the body – stretching and toning the muscles and joints, the spine and the entire skeletal system. Yoga incorporates sustained stretching to strengthen the muscles and increase flexibility. Yoga is an individual experience.
I understand that Kitten Yoga is an interactive event with live baby felines from an animal rescue, where kittens will roam freely in the class space and participants may be potentially climbed on and interacted with by baby felines. It also may include exposure to possible cat allergens, to scratches or bites from the kittens, odors affiliated with kittens, and other potentially strenuous scenarios. I understand and accept the risk of injury from interacting with the kittens, including, but not limited to, scratches, bites and allergic reactions. If I am pregnant or become pregnant or am post-natal, I verify that I am participating in yoga class with my doctor’s full approval. I realize that I am participating at my own risk. I understand and accept that kittens may cause distraction during yoga class and I do not hold Sioux Empire TNR Coalition, The Kitten League or Coast 2 Coast Fitness Sports & Yoga liable for any injury sustained as a result of interacting with the kittens.
